Sharing God's Love and Bringing Hope Through

Ministry and Service

Welcoming You Home

A Place to Know God.

At St. Stephen's worship is at the center of our life together.  Through prayer, music, preaching, and sacrament we come to know God and be known by God.

A Place to Know One Another.

St. Stephen's is a community of faith, where people know one another and share in life's joys and challenges.  As a member of St. Stephen's you are not alone.

St. Stephen's will continue to have one service on Sundays at 9:00 AM.

Masks are optional in worship and in all indoor spaces. Mask use is still encouraged as an easy mitigation strategy and expected for those who are unvaccinated.  Masks are available in the Narthex.

You can join us in person at St. Stephen's, or join us virtually through our live-streamed liturgy every Sunday at 9:00 am on our Facebook page or YouTube channel.

St. Stephen's and Broadneck Baptist are preparing for both of our clergy, The Rev. Abby Hailey and The Rev. Victor Hailey to be on Sabbatical for the summer of 2022. Both churches were fortunate to receive a Clergy Renewal Grant through the Lilly Foundation that will fund experiences not just for our clergy, but for our congregations to experience joy, rest, and recreation.

We will kick off “Sabbatical Summer” for both of our churches on Sunday, May 22! Bishop Eugene Sutton, the Bishop of the Diocese of Maryland, will be with both congregations as we worship together at St. Stephen's (1110 St. Stephens Church Rd, Crownsville).  We look forward to seeing you there!

As a part of our Sabbatical plans to recognize and recommit to the covenants we make in our lives, St. Stephen's has planned a trip to the National Cathedral on June 18th.

As we recognize our commintent to the larger National Church, we will visit the home church of the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, and enjoy a guided tour.

Please sign up with the link below to be included.  We have a limited number of seats available!!!

Altar Flowers are a special offering to God and to the St. Stephen’s community.

Each week the Altar Guild, who arranges the altar flowers, offer up their gifts of creative talents by lovingly decorating the church.

Sponsoring altar flowers is a beautiful way to honor loved ones marking special life events such as birthdays, wedding anniversaries, baptism, confirmation, memory of a loved one, or a thanksgiving for life’s blessings.

New!!! You can now also sponsor a sanctuary candle!  Click on the button for more info.
